The City Star Makes Her Mark

Whitney Eve Spring 2010

pictures from coutorture
If you've ever watched The Hills or The City, then you must know that Whitney has a great fashion sense and such chic and effortless style. I would love to just look through her closet. On the first episode of the second season of The City, Whitney presented her collection at Bryant Park. She put her whole career on the line, which I think is extremely brave. She knows how to give it her all and really stick herself out there. Life's all about taking risks and striving to do your best. I absolutely love her collection, and its so wearable also. What do you think?

Vogue May: Sarah Jessica Parker

The Vogue May cover story photo spread on Sarah Jessica Parker is absolutely amazing. In fact, amazing is an understatement, its breath taking. I'm no photographer, but I certainly enjoy good photos, and the art of taking them. For all you aspiring photographers out there, you must have a gift, because capturing an emotion on camera can be so hard, and when it is done well it is stunning. I love the background and warm, rich, and somewhat dark color scheme these photos have. The clothes look stunning. I'm not even sure how to explain it, but ounce again Vogue has succeeded in the photography apartment.

Teen Vogue Cover Girl Karlie Kloss

I've been a subscriber to Teen Vogue for a while now, and I always love coming home to see an issue on the kitchen table that came in the mail that day. I loved the May issue. The cover girl was Karlie Kloss, the destined for success model. I have to admit, she is a great model. She definitely knows how play roles for the camera, and give off a certain emotion or look. It was nice to have someone on the cover who isn't the "average celebrity". Instead of another Disney star, singer, or the it-girl actress of the moment, the magazine had a normal girl who doubles as a model. One of the things I love about Teen Vogue is that its not just about fashion and beauty, but about real issues. In this issue they had two interesting articles that I recommend you read. One was on girls trying to act older then they really are, and the other was about the dangers of smoking pot. Teen Vogue has done it again with another wonderful issue.
